How To Care For Your Plancha Grill?
Like any other appliance, you also need to maintain the grill to maintain its efficiency and durability. Therefore, you can do the following to keep the grill clean and in good condition:
1. Before using the new grill, it is better to wash it with warm soapy water. You can also use a plastic washer or brush to remove any dust or factory grease.
2. Thoroughly dry. Then wipe both sides evenly with shortening or vegetable oil.
3. Set your plancha for indirect barbecue, or set it in a 300 degree oven until the plancha metal hole of the oil absorbs the oil. 30 to 60 minutes.
4. Let it cool and wipe with a paper towel. Then you can now use your plancha grill.
5. Similar to other cooking equipment, the plancha must be thoroughly cleaned after use. When plancha is still hot, sprinkle a glass of water on the cooking surface. Brush the grill as the water evaporates. Repeat as needed until the plancha is completely cleaned.
6. Then sprinkle 1 to 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil on the plancha. Wipe clean with folded paper attached to the end of the pliers.
7. Place the plancha on a dry surface. Repeat as necessary.
You can also use these stones to maintain the teppanyaki grill just as you would with an ordinary oven.
